Welcome to Java.net.  My name is Mary B. Miller and it has been a lifelong dream of mine to own my own bookstore.  After writing it down, I decided my dream could become a reality.  It has taken a lot of hard work, planning, listening to friends and family to come up with what I think people will enjoy.

     I want people to walk in the door and feel comfortable and welcome.  Our staff will be friendly and personable to everyone.

We are a proud member of the Cuba Area Chamber of Commerce.

In the Spring of 2008, Java.net received nominations for three Chamber Awards:  Beautification, Rookie and Enterprenaur.

We were awarded with a plaque for Rookie of the year at the annual chamber banquet.

Who We Are

My husband and I have three daughters.  One of which still lives at home with us in Cuba.  We both have deep roots in Crawford County and Cuba, Missouri.

I have worked for the local school for six years and decided to pursue my dream of owning a bookstore.  Joe works for the City of Cuba as the Property Management Supervisor. 

We are very excited about bringing a new business into the community.  We feel it will be a great place for children, teens and adults to gather for relaxing visits.  And a place where students can work on research in the internet cafe.
